MANILA – For the last time, celebrities have turned the spotlight on Leni Robredo and Keiko Pangilinan, with their first gauntlet appearance in Makati’s business district.
Three “Darnas” Angel Locsin, Iza Calzado and Jane de Leon took to the stage to show support for the tandem.
“Ito na marahil ang huling gabi ng ating kampanya. Pero hindi ito ang huling pagsasama-sama ng ating mga boses at ng ating mga pangarap. Indian Kalzado Tayo Tetegil Hanggate De Roy Ang Menimethi Nighting Jupyirong Tabat said.
Actress Kapamilya Anne Curtis made her campaign debut. “It’s show time!” The host, who has been away from TV for two years, surprised the massive audience on Ayala Street when she appeared on stage with Yeng Constantino, singing “Hawak Kamay”.
According to Curtis, she decides to join the rally because she also sees hope from Robredo’s leadership.
“Nandito po ako kasi gusto ko rin makiisa sa inyo para sa bayan. Kaya Nandito po ako Ngayon, Dahel Tolad Ninyo Bunung Bunung Bo Yong Bosu ko ng bagh asa. Bagh asa ng nakikita ko sa lahat ng Nandeto Bo Nga,” Curtis said. .
“In nakikita ko rin po yung pag-asa na yun kay, madam Lenny Robredo. Nakikita ko po siya bilang isang ina.”
While the government has the power to help the people, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray told the audience on Saturday that the people have the power to change the government in the upcoming elections.
“We have to remember that government has the power to change our lives but we have the power to change government. The only thing that got us (here) today isn’t just a name, it’s not just a person, or a party, or a color, it’s hope, and I’m very proud to raise my voice in Pursue that hope on the side of each and every one of you,” Gray said.
Gray said the more than 780,000 people and the number who attended Robredo’s Tale is testament to her leadership that gives hope and inspiration.

Former love team Marvin Agustin and Julia Magdangal joined Lenny Robredo on stage while some fans watched Catherine Bernardo and Danielle Padilla at the event.
Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza has started a pre-event program. The company sang the audience with its song “Now That I Have You” and other OPM classics while JK Labajo alumnus of The Voice PH Kids edited his song “Buwan” urging the audience to vote on Monday.
Magdangal and Eric Santos led the audience in prayer, while Benoy Dream Academy winner Ying Constantinou led the singing of the national anthem.
Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano opened the program by saying that he was a voter for the first time, and then sang his hit song “Hataw Na”. Gap Valenciano joined his father in chanting: “Ang Chief, Lenny Robredo. Peace President, Kiko Pangilinan” and was followed by Darren Espanto’s performance with G-Force and the musical crew, “Ang Hulling El Bimbo.”
Former Benoy Big Brother housemates Bianca Gonzalez and Robbie Domingo took to the stage to host the show while actress Kim Chiu shared how surprised she was to see bayanihan materialize during the Leni-Kiko campaign. She also honored mothers in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday.
OPM singer Moira dela Torre performed her original song “Ipanalo Natin’ To” inspired by Leni Robredo’s logo. This was followed by Angel Locsin taking the opportunity to thank all the volunteers and individuals who had dedicated their time to contribute to the Robredo and Pangilinan campaign.
Megastar Sharon Koneta sang the audience with her song “Pangarap na Bituin” while introducing her husband, Pangilinan. Rivermaya finished ‘Liwanag Sa Dilim’ with a full slate on stage.
Also in attendance were Sexbomb star Rochelle Pangilinan, Andrea Brillants, Janine Gutierrez, and Janella Salvador.
