The ITV reality series The Games launched on Monday, May 9 and saw celebrities face off in a battle for glory. The Games see six stars and six female stars train to become athletes and take part in a series of athletic challenges. The show is hosted by Holly Willoughby, who will be missing from This Morning to appear on the show. Freddy Flintoff, Chris Kamara and Alex Scott rounded out the submission list. Who are the celebrities in gaming on ITV?

Kevin Clifton

Kevin Clifton, 39, is no stranger to screens as a former professional Strictly Come Dancing and now an actor, who will appear in a new production of Singin’ In The Rain.

His stamina during his seven-series of BBC dance program will likely put him in good standing at the games as he battles for victory.

Kristen McGuinness

Kristen McGuinness, 34, is an author, model, and autism ambassador as well as the wife of TV presenter Paddy McGuinness.

She has also appeared on other TV shows including The Real Housewives of Cheshire and Strictly The Real Monty.

Olivia Atwood

Olivia Atwood, 30, is a television personality and reality TV star, who appeared in the third series of Love Island and later in The Only Way Is Essex.

She has also worked as a model and has appeared in Lorraine, Tipping Point, Loose Women, and The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Colson Smith

23-year-old Colson Smith is known as the lovable Craig Tinker on Coronation Street, but he hopes to show off his athletic prowess at the games.

Smith has been a part of ITV soaps since 2011 and before that he appeared in Jailhouse Dog, Reverie and Hollows Wood.

Phoenix Gulzar Brown

Phoenix Gulzar Brown, 23, is an influencer and model perhaps best known as the daughter of Spice Girl Mel B.

She previously appeared on Channel 4’s Born Famous series and even had a promising career as a teenage basketball player.

Josh Herdman

Josh Herdman, 35, is a British actor best known as the bad boy Gregory Joel in the Harry Potter series as well as starring in the Robin Hood movie.

He has also appeared in Alex Rider, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and White House Farm in addition to his work in MMA.

Wes Nelson

Wes Nelson, 23, is a musician and television star who rose to fame on Love Island and then Dancing on Ice.

He has also appeared in 8 Out of 10 Cats, The X Factor: Celebrity, Celebrity SAS: Who des Wins, and The Crystal Maze.

Rebecca Sarker

Rebecca Sarker, 46, is a soap star and is currently in the Emmerdale backstory as Manpreet Sharma.

Some of her previous credits include TwentyTwelve, Dark Heart, Coronation Street, and Holby City.

Ryan Thomas

Ryan Thomas, 37, will be more famous to viewers from his time on Coronation Street as Todd Grimshaw.

After leaving the Stones in 2016, he starred in Neighbors, Mancs in Mumbai, The Island will Bear Grylls, and even won a Celebrity Big Brother.

Chelsea Grimes

Chelsea Grimes, 29, is a Grammy-nominated songwriter who has penned songs for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Olly Morse, and Dua Lipa.

She is also a footballer and has played for Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham and Everton, among other teams, and her skill on the field may give her an edge over some of the other competitors.
