the games is a new sports competition show on ITV that sees 12 celebrities go head-to-head in a number of sporting events through a week of live programming.
Both famous faces underwent weeks of intense training to prepare them for a number of sporting challenges against intense competition.
They have all been taken out of their comfort zones to be trained as athletes, swimmers and cyclists as they hope to rise to the top of the medal table and win the competition.
The show will be hosted live by TV star Holly Willoughby and former cricketer Freddy Flintoff, while ex-professional footballer Alex Scott will be the track reporter, and former football star Chris Camara will be the commentator.

the games It will air every night at 9pm from Monday 9 May to Friday 13 May on ITV and ITV Hub.

Six male celebrities and six female athletes will compete in 10 events at the athletics arena, swimming pool, gymnasium and track.
Each rider will put their athletic skills to the test in a number of intense sports, from the 100-meter sprint to diving, all while trying to earn points on the medal table.
In addition to live coverage of events, each episode will give us a glimpse into the preparation and hard training of celebrities by some of the UK’s best coaches, as they aim to reach their best physical condition.
As the leaderboard progresses throughout the week, the series will conclude with a final showdown where one champion and one champion will be crowned.

Who is hosting the games?
Host live sporting events This morning Lt. Col. Holly Willoughby and their own league Speaker Freddy Flintoff.
Alex Scott, former soccer player and sports analyst, will take over reporting duties on the racetrack, while former professional soccer player Chris Camara will join Simon Brotherton in the comment box.
Speaking of the show, Holly revealed, “I love live TV. It’s my favorite thing, and any other TV I’ve made doesn’t have the excitement of watching the action. I’m not a natural sports woman, but I do remember watching the Olympics with the kids and really got into it.”
“Sports can be a little intimidating and a little intimidating for someone who doesn’t really know anything about it, but I think this show will be a lot of fun for the whole family!”
