ITV’s upcoming action-packed sports show, The Games, follows many celebrities who play a number of different sports – vying to reach the top of the medal table.
Freddy Flintoff and Holly Willoughby will present the series alongside Alex Scott, who will also join as a field-side reporter and Chris Kamara as commentator.
Viewers will see 12 celebrities removed from their “comfort zones” as they coach and train in different areas of the sport in the athletics arena, pool and gym.
Competitors will also showcase their athletic abilities in events from the 100m to diving.
But who are the celebrities who will be participating?

Kristen McGuinness
Model Autism Awareness Ambassador Kristen will test her physical and mental strength in the upcoming series.
The 34-year-old recently revealed to fans that the competition on the show was tougher than she ever imagined.

Olivia Atwood
Olivia is best known for her star stint on Love Island and reached the finalist in 2017.
The reality star has been a regular staple on screens ever since, and has gone on to appear in The Only Way Is Essex and Celebs Go Dating.
Max George
Singer Max George is best known for being a member of the British boy band The Wanted.
The pop star is certainly no stranger to reality TV as he starred in series 18 of Strictly Come Dancing.
The Forever Gold hit maker was reportedly invited to join the show after Mark Wright quit the script.
Kevin Clifton
Former Strictly supporter Kevin is also part of the lineup.
Although the 39-year-old left the hit BBC One series in 2020, his biggest concern about the games is “showing off” in front of a live audience.

Wes Nelson
Wes Nelson starred in the fourth series of Love Island with Danny Dyer and Jack Fowler.

Ryan Thomas
He appeared as Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street from 2000 until 2016.

Colson Smith
Coronation Street star Colson Smith is best known for playing Craig Tinker on the ITV soap.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the actor shared his impressive workout regimen. Coulson made the most of the shutdown exercise, raising money for charity while running the Virtual 5K and losing 10 stones while the Coronation Street filming was paused.
Josh Herdman
Former Harry Potter star Josh Herdman played Gregory Joel in the Harry Potter series of films – alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
Since then, the actor has continued to pursue his career as an MMA fighter.
Lucrezia Millarini
News reader Lucrezia is best known for providing ITV London and ITV Lunchtime News.
Similar to Wes, the star also debuted Dancing On Ice in 2020.
Rebecca Sarker
The 47-year-old actress has appeared on Coronation Street and has appeared in several TV series including Doctors, Holby City, Golden Hour and EastEnders.
Rebecca made her debut on The Dales in 2018 as Manpreet, when she was covering Dr. Kavanagh’s clothes at Abbott Lane Surgery—and took a shine to Richie when he came for a check-up.
Chelsea Grimes
Chelcee has written for big artists including Dua and Kylie Minogue, and her songwriting credits include Dua’s Love Again, Dreams and Bad Together, Dua’s collaborations with BLACKPINK, Kiss and Make Up, Kylie’s Million Miles, Louisa Johnson’s So Good, and The Saturday’ Walking Through the Desert And deeper Olly Morse.
Football fans may also recognize Scouser from her time with Merseyrail Ladies FC, Liverpool Ladies, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Tranmere Rovers and Fulham, and her work with BBC Sport and Sky Sports.
Phoenix Brown
Phoenix is best known as the daughter of former Spice Girls singer Mel B.
The influencer has over 50,000 followers on Instagram and is also one of the youngest co-stars of the series.
When do games start on ITV?
The games premiere live on Monday May 9th at 9pm on ITV – and will air over consecutive nights on the broadcaster.
Each episode will showcase celebrity preparations as they are taught the sport from the start by some of the UK’s best coaches. After their strenuous training program leading up to the competition, they aim to reach their peak physical condition.
With the leaderboards forming with each night, the series will culminate in an exhilarating final showdown in which one champion and one champion will be crowned.
The games are broadcast on Mondays at 9pm on ITV.
