Before that they were famous! Childhood snapshots show new celebrities revealing their childhood dreams before they rose to stardom – how many of you do you know?

A host of fashionable names remembered their childhood ambitions before they rose to stardom later in life and shared pictures of their younger selves.

As part of the new Guide Dogs campaign, celebrities revealed their dreams when they were children along with the snaps and asked readers to put a name on the face.

One Oscar-winning actress admitted that she hoped to be a nurse when she grew up, while a well-known English broadcaster admitted that that was all he wanted.

A lexical author who has made headlines in recent days admitted that she had two different dreams, neither of which has been linked to landing a role in Countdown.

The campaign follows research that found 75 percent of visually impaired adults are currently unemployed.

The Every Dream Counts initiative looks at what visually impaired children aspire to achieve, in the hope that they can make their dreams come true.

The blindness charity has released several photos of celebrities as young children in hopes of raising awareness – how many of you can name it?
