I’m Richard Madeley, a potential All-Star celebrity

I’m a celebrity…get me out of here! Star Richard Madley has said he has an “unfinished business” with the show after he was forced out of the series last year.

The journalist and presenter was taken to the hospital as a precaution after falling ill during last year’s series, but since the trip broke the celebrity’s COVID bubble, he was therefore unable to return to camp.

Monday (16 May) Good morning BritainMadeley discussed whether to return for the long-rumored All-stars reality TV show, scheduled for a brand new location.

“I had this funny turn, I got dehydrated as it turns out, which means I broke the Covid bubble because they insisted I go to the hospital and they didn’t let me come back because of Covid, and that was the only reason,” he said.

“I have to say,” Madley also said, “it sounds like an unfinished business.”

“On the other hand, I have a motto: ‘Never go back, just keep moving forward.’ I’m not sure.”

For this year’s season, the show is preparing to return to Australia for the first time since the pandemic, with production moving to Wales in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-related travel restrictions.

This past January, hosts Anth Mac Barlin and Declan Donnelly commented on their hopes of returning to the bottom next season.
