In 2022, Kizz Daniel took a stand against smoking. On his 28th birthday, May 1, 2022, the Nigerian singer put a public end to smoking as he shared a video explaining the reasons for the decision.
Keys said parts of the reasons for his decision were his children, as he destroyed a pack full of cigarette sticks.
Nigerian singer Techno is another singer who quit smoking cigarettes. In 2019, Tekno revealed that he had finally quit his smoking habit, congratulating himself on the achievement.
The singer said:
“Congratulations to me, you have finally broken your dirty smoking habit.”
3. Don Jazzy
Legendary music producer Don Jazzy revealed in 2019 that he had spent a year without smoking, which means that he began the journey in 2018.

Don Jazzy’s decision to end his addiction has become an inspiration to many Nigerians as of 2019.
After Don Jazzy revealed that he ended his smoking addiction in 2019, DMW president Davido was among those inspired.
Davido, in a statement at the time, said he would soon stop smoking after sharing a video of a pack of cigarettes.
However, it is not known if the singer stopped the addiction, but he is rarely seen smoking.
5. Tonto Dika
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh is another celebrity who quit her smoking addiction.
Since 2012, Tonto Dikeh, who was said to have been battling a smoking habit after hitting the spotlight in 2006 when she was number two on the Next Movie Star TV reality show, has revealed her decision to give up her smoking habit.
