On the first Monday in May, the Met Gala, the huge and most lavish party of the year, takes place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The Met Gala’s red carpet has been decorated with so many stunning looks in 2022 that it’s one of the biggest annual entertainment and fashion events. The theme for the 2022 Met Gala was “Gilded Glamor,” which everyone watched with anticipation and left with alert minds.
Golden Age fashion was dignified and sophisticated due to the booming economy and prosperity of the northern United States in the late nineteenth century. So the sense of fashion, design and dress was elite, distinguished, elegant and exquisite. So, without further ado, let’s put on our fashion hats and pass judgment on the celebrities who allowed the Met Gala 2022 mission.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are indeed one of the most beloved couples in Hollywood. It is definitely a match made in heaven with its engaging characters, engaging charm, modern fairytale-like love story, support system, and excellent wits to complement its splendor. Yes, as if they are two peas in a pod.
They’ve done an amazing job taking center stage as the Met Gala 2022 co-chairs with their dynamic and electric kits, and we’re falling in love. Ryan Reynolds looked incredibly elegant and organized in his crisp velvet suit, while Blake stole the show and had everyone turn around for another look. Blake Lively wore a warm, floor-sweeping Atelier Versace long-sleeve copper gown with a massive side bow, and her outfit heightened the “Gilded Glamor” theme at the Met Gala 2022 with such a deep and thought-provoking concept.

Alicia Keys’ Met Gala 2022 was an ode to the beloved city’s ‘state of mind’. She wore a sparkling black and silver Ralph Lauren crystal-embellished dress with a gorgeous floor-length gown that had an embroidered New York City skyline. The dramatic and glamorous collection is adorned with over 200,000 crystals, ramping up its look and theme to another level and leaving everyone amazed.
Cardi B
Gilded Glamor meets Versace and meets the Bronx. Cardi B looked like a shimmering golden goddess in her Versace collection, which was curated by celebrity Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace and her crew, who spent more than 1,300 hours working on her all-night look. To say the least, their efforts paid off as she walked the red carpet looking fierce, stunningly beautiful, extravagant and gorgeous.
Casey Musgraves
It’s the perfect time to sing and talk to us… “Because I can’t stop myself from falling in love with you,” While adore Kacey Musgraves’ timeless beauty, from her vintage royal look on the 2022 Met Gala red carpet. Kacey attended the opening of the “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” exhibition in a black and silver-tone Prada gown. It’s “Gilded Glamor,” it’s fun, and it’s a sculptural beauty that put Ariana center stage.

She wore Gucci’s Billie Eilish to accentuate “Gilded Glamor,” inspired by John Singer Sargent’s 1885 “Madame Paul Poirson” painting. With her custom Recycled gown and matching heels, she was undoubtedly one of those celebrities who rightly understood the Met Gala 2022 mission. Billie Eilish wore a Gucci Duchesse recycled satin dress by Alessandro Michele, with lace lining, and a satin Duchesse skirt with a bustle Padded Duchesse bodice. She finished her look with an embellished hoodie and gorgeous hair that matched the times.
Conan Gray
Conan made his stunning debut at the Met Gala in a stunning sheer silver Valentino outfit, honoring his oath to give it his all. He looked flawless in his dress, of patterned tulle with long silver pants, adorned with a long flowing cloak, loose curly hair, and high white heels. Conan perfectly encapsulates the essence of the gilded era in such elegance and glimmer of glamor.

It’s “About Damn Time” (yes, pun intended) to acknowledge Lizzo’s many talents apart from just singing, as she emerged as one of the sexiest and fashionable women of 2022. Lizzo looked majestic in the Thom Browne Black and Gold ensemble, and it’s all about the outfit He stole our hearts. Everything complemented her racy style and confidence, from the voluminous black cape with gold trim to the corset-style dress to the $55,000 flute, that made her stand out from the crowd.
Megan Thee Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion has left us breathless every time she walks the red carpet, and the Met Gala 2022 fits the bill perfectly. Meghan looked covered in sequins, glass beads, crystals and stones in a strapless embroidered metallic Moschino gown with a long train, side slits, and slit details. He was absolutely stunning and looked elegant and refined, with glamorous make-up and a feathery shoulder cover that reflected the feather colors that many wealthy women wore throughout the golden age.

Natasha looked like a gold figurine wrapping this gorgeous custom-made Sabyasachi gold saree with a corset-style gold shield with cosmic vibes, accentuated by matching sparkly makeup, jewelry, bracelets, and manicures.
