PARK CITY — Russell Weiner, the billionaire founder of Rockstar Energy, bought a Park City mansion for $39.6 million — breaking the record for the most expensive home sale in the state, Engel & Völkers real estate agent Paul Benson told the Wall Street Journal.

Monitors Rest, a 17,567-square-foot, seven-bedroom, 10-bath private ski retreat, is located in the luxurious Colony indoor/outdoor ski community in White Pine Canyon at Park City Ski Resort. The estate is built on five acres at the Monitor Bowl.

Once you make your way to the mansion’s heated driveway, you arrive at a covered entrance and a car court that can hold up to 20 vehicles.

The listing describes it as a “home for wellness,” as it features Delos’ DARWIN Home Wellness Intelligence Network, which regulates circadian rhythm lighting to improve dopamine and serotonin production and includes a state-of-the-art air and water purification system.

But that’s not even close to all the amenities that home offers. It also features a 60-foot stainless steel indoor and outdoor pool, health spa, world-class gym, Himalayan salt room, cold plunge pool, hot tub, steam room, ice fountain, and infrared sauna. And a massage room.

The indoor sports field includes volleyball, basketball and pickle ball courts, and the house also has a 70-foot climbing wall, golf simulator, bowling alley, digital laser projection system, full-bar, billiards, ping-pong tables, floating fireplace, floor-to-ceiling robotic glass walls, and a tower Panoramic to enjoy the beauty of the mountainside.

Winner is known to be a real estate agent, buying and selling luxury homes across the country, including Madonna’s formerly owned Beverly Hills mansion and the North Palm Beach estate owned by Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, Elon Nordegren.

Luxury real estate developer Iluminus Group teamed up with CLB Architects, Design Workshop, Delos, Orsman Design, and Magleby Estate Homes to design and build this home with Italian steel windows and doors, Croatian limestone, charred Cypriot sho suji pan, and a full copper roof.

BLOK Studio in Poland created a visual rendering of the home during its development, and their staff considered it “one of the most amazing projects we’ve ever been involved in,” according to their website, and requires hundreds of pages of documentation to plan and 3D model each custom-made piece of furniture.

“We really wanted to do something a little different in the Park City market, as much as it could be done for a high-end, high-end skate house,” David Ostrander, co-founder of Iluminus Group, told The Wall Street Journal.
