A stunned reporter in a floor-length gold dress at the Met Gala last night went viral on social media with many claiming that she looked ‘better’ than the celebrities in attendance.
Celebrities were tasked with interpreting Gilded Glamor’s theme at a fundraising event on behalf of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Blake Lively among the attendees.
Beauty pageant titleholder Genesis Camila Soero took to the red carpet in New York to report on “the biggest night in fashion” for Spanish-language broadcaster Telemundo.
After Genesis wore a glamorous gold dress by fashion designer Lucia Rodriguez, Genesis left fans impressed with several social media users arguing that she was the ‘best looking person’ at the event.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Genesis Soiro wore her beautiful black hair in a high knot, while she wore her intricate dress with simple dangling earrings.
While studying for a business degree at Hostos Community College, Genesis was crowned Miss New York in 2018.
She started competing in beauty pageants after working as a skincare specialist at Bloomingdales.
I remember watching TV in the Dominican Republic in 2002, and I saw one of the contestants in the Miss Universe contest, and I said, This is what I want to do. This is what I want to be. “This is going to be my career,” Genesis told the New York Post.
Genesis previously revealed that she was inspired to compete in the beauty pageants after seeing the Miss Universe contestant on TV.
Genesis, a finalist on a reality show last year, revealed that she runs marathons and organizes gym camps to stay fit.
She has completed grueling training camps and participated in the New York City Marathon as part of efforts to maintain her enviable figure.
In 2021, Genesis became a finalist on Univision’s reality show, Nuestra Belleza Latina.
She was grateful for the opportunity to attend the much-anticipated Met Gala for her 67,000 followers on Instagram, saying, ‘I am grateful for all the opportunities I have.

Genesis teamed a Lucia Rodriguez dress with simple dangling earrings and wore her hair in a high knot.
Although onlookers were divided over whether Kim Kardashian, Blake Lively or Gigi Hadid looked better on the red carpet, many fans argued in favor of Genesis, claiming that the reporter ‘understood the mission’ and had a look more suited to a theme from the 1870s to Twentieth century.
