Celebrities, when you take in the glamor and glamor and glamor and fame and fortune, are just ordinary people living their ordinary lives making a living out of one of the many professions that provide stardom.
Most of them grew up the same way we did, learned the same things, and met people the same way, but it’s always funny that these celebrities got to know each other before hitting the spotlight.
Here are 12 celebrities who went to school together.
1. Timothée Chalamet and Ansel Elgort
Both Chalamet and Elgort are Native New Yorkers, and they went to school together at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts before breaking into the acting world around the same time.
Major Dune and West Side Story, who were both nominated for a Golden Globe in 2018, both played basketball together in high school and had a lot of the same teachers together.
2. Maya Rudolph and Gwyneth Paltrow
The SNL alumnus and founder of Goop saw both of their parents attend Tulane University together before moving to Los Angeles and continuing their friendships on the West Coast.
The two daughters, Rudolph and Paltrow, soon became friends because of their parents and went to St. Augustine by the sea in Santa Monica, California, where their friendship blossomed to where they are today.
