    Dr. Surabi Siddhartha listed five tips for men to take care of their reproductive health. These include:

    1. Regular Screening for STDs: There should be adequate awareness among men regarding sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), syphilis, chlamydia, and herpes. So far there is no vaccine for them, and prevention is the only key to preventing these diseases. The use of contraceptives should also be promoted. You will have to follow your doctor’s instructions when it comes to the examination.


    2. Quitting Smoking: Smoking can affect sperm quality. So don’t smoke.

    3. Try to maintain good personal hygiene: You should avoid using any chemical products there. Try to wear underwear in a breathable fabric such as cotton, and make sure it’s not too tight.

    4. Eat a balanced diet: You need to choose a diet that includes all the vital nutrients. Try eating eggs as they contain protein and vitamin E, improve sperm motility and sperm count and protect them from oxidative stress. Choose berries because they contain antioxidants and can help a person get a good sperm count. Spinach helps in the production of sperm. Walnuts contain omega-3 fatty acids and tend to improve sperm motility. Avoid junk, packaged, and canned foods as they may cause problems.
