Arteriors Intros collection with designer Jay Jeffers

Arteriors presented an exclusive collection designed by Jay Jeffers, a Northern California interior designer. In the brand’s 35th anniversary year, Arteriors welcomes Jay back in a third collaboration, introducing 28 new pieces. As a well-established member of the guest designer family Arteriors, the Jay Collection prioritizes diversity while embodying the “Liveable Luxury” approach to design.

Influenced by mid-century Western European designers like Carlos Scarpa, Franco Albini, and Jean-Michel Frank, the collection embraces classic elements like antique and brushed brass and pairs them with newer materials like etched glass and perforated metal. Founder of JayJeffers Inc, Jay feels equally comfortable creating a cozy bar space as he designs a luxurious second home. This adaptability appears in his collection for Arteriors, with many lighting products appearing in many forms, from sconces to table lamps to pendants.

“With every collaboration, I prioritize quality and craftsmanship. This third collection with Arteriors reflects their strong network of artisans who bring every product to life, a hallmark I wanted to celebrate as part of the 35th Anniversary collection,” Jay said. “Every piece is handcrafted and meant to feel assembled over time. This new offering highlights lighting and accessories that are adaptable to different environments, whether it’s a sprawling luxury resort or a tiny New York apartment.”

The end result is a beautiful blend of sculptural shapes, vintage metallic elements, and 20th century-inspired design. Expanding on its two previous collections, Jay and Arteriors has developed new pieces across several categories, including furniture, chest goods, and accessories such as candlesticks, table lamps, and mirrors created with Jay’s signature touches. These design elements can be found throughout the collection, notably in the Trento Mirror, made of hand-formed brass, and the Holm Sconce, made with two separate layers of glass for beautiful diffused light. The Carl pendant mixes smoked glass with pewter and multiple layers of glass for an installation that can be displayed tall above a kitchen island or shortened for entryway or bedroom installation. Finally, the elegant Cantu cabinet features a rich ebony finish and tapered legs for a beautiful addition to your entryway or living space.

“We are thrilled to have Jay back as guest designer. What better way to celebrate our 35th anniversary than with one of our oldest collaborators?” said Barb Fuller, Vice President of Marketing and Visual Merchandising for Arteriors. “Jay’s eye for leisure space design can be seen across his three collections of Arteriors, from accessories to seating and chests of drawers designed for comfortable and elegant gatherings in the home. For this new collection, we worked together to expand on the theme with lighting that creates a warm ambiance and accessories that provide elegant touches to the spaces. interior.”

The Jay Jeffers for Arteriors collection debuted on March 1, 2022 as part of the Arteriors Spring 2022 collection that includes a total of 265 offerings across furniture, lighting and decor.
