The emergence of the new designer workspace

The designer’s workspace—a gathering place, workspace, and open resource library for the Atlanta Market and AmericasMart’s Open Year Tour resources—reopens in a new location on the 15th floor with a brand new look this summer. Closed Summer 2021 to accommodate the strategic relocations that were part of Atlanta NEXT Home Decor Resources’ reorganization of Building 1, and will celebrate their move with the “Designer Workspace Grand Reopening” event, Thursday, July 14, 4-6 p.m.

“By relocating and redesigning the designer’s workspace, the designer’s workspace has been optimized to best serve the design community that returns to AmericasMart for year-round sourcing and markets,” said Carolyn Russell, Director of Designer Services, who is on campus daily to support designers. “The new location next to the elevators allows us to connect with designers as soon as they arrive, the updated workspaces provide them with a place to work while they are on campus, and the remodeled design allows us to offer events and hospitality year-round. We can’t wait to welcome the design community into the designer’s workspace soon. very! “
