Celebrity casting for lead voice roles is destroying the animation industry – The Observer

I don’t like the amount of celebrity voice roles we’ve seen lately. I love movies. I consider films to be a form of art and entertainment, and as long as the directors take their film with some kind of seriousness, I do not consider any film a bad film.

However, despite this point of view, I am very critical of the things I watch. My friends and family have told me that they hate watching movies and shows with me. In the words of my sister, “I’d rather just enjoy my movies than try to find things to enjoy.”

I like to criticize the media I watch, and I believe that everyone should have media knowledge, not only of things that happen on screen, but also of production. How was the movie made, how were the producers, and how was the movie announced? I’m kind of passionate about the movie.

The one thing that’s always front and center in a movie is the cast. Let’s be honest, people often go to the movies for actors. The number of people who watched Dune would have been halved if Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya hadn’t starred in it. Popular cast members make films successful.

This is the case. We see the same actors hopping in and out. Go and look at anyone’s fan team (a fan makes the cast for an unproduced movie) and you’ll see that half of them are Marvel actors.

I am no exception to this. There are certain actors that I adore and would love to see in any role, but that makes it more difficult for anyone who wants to be an actor, and I want to focus squarely on the voice acting for animation.

It’s hard to get into voice acting. Many young people fresh out of acting school struggle to find a job or even a performance experience. There are a lot of talented voice actors who never got a role. This is because the voice roles have been handed over to notable names now.

According to onstageblog.com, since auditions have moved to an online format, it has become increasingly difficult for new voice actors to apply. The article talks about how the tests are specifically expensive, requiring a better microphone, camera, ring light, editing software, and a reader to help you with your lines.

This cost increase presented another obstacle for those who were not well established or who were not already successful. Celebrities are likely to get the money required to get this equipment.

Do you honestly think Chris Pratt is the best choice to play Mario in the new Mario movie? Or is Chris Evans the perfect young Buzz Lightyear actor in the new upcoming Lightyear animated movie?

My philosophy is that you can take on any role, even your favorite one, and no matter how great you choose the actors, the director would have found a better cast if they looked at it.

It gets even more frustrating when the famous actor they pick for this role isn’t even good as a voice actor. I can’t legally say anything bad Beyonce Because I love her and she’s perfect, but she didn’t do well in the new Lion King movie, because she had very little training and experience when it came to voice acting.

It’s quite obvious that the people in the cabin didn’t give her much directions, right? that it BeyonceAre you going to tell her she’s less than perfect?

Voice acting is a very innovative and emotional market. Anytime you see these voice actors in interviews about their roles, it’s clear how much they love what they do. Most of them are talented. Which makes it hard for me to see that the barrier to entry is so much higher because someone decided Chris Pratt would be the perfect Garfield.
