The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio was hot, but these celebrities brought even more heat.
The first weekend of the festival was full of surprises, from guest specials, to unreleased new music debuts, to Taco Bell ads (thank you Doja Cat), to celebrity watching.
Artists including Anitta, Harry Styles, Daniel Caesar, Billie Eilish, and 21 Savage were among a few artists who surprised fans as they brought in performers to perform alongside them on stage.
Anita, the first-ever Brazilian female artist to perform on the main stage in Coachella, directed Snoop Dogg and Sawity and worked as a diplo DJ during her set. Her performance was successful – her fans went crazy on the Internet and in person.
Day One star Harry Styles debuted two new songs during his performance – “Boyfriends” and “Late Night Talking”. After a surprise guest shout-out, Styles directed the Chyna Twain and performed her songs, “Man, I Feel Like a Woman” and “Still One.”
Also on Friday, Daniel Caesar brought his guest. Bieber fever alert. Yes, Caesar brought on the Biebs and they performed their single “Peaches”.
The Emo Nite duo, Morgan Freed and TJ Petracca, have played songs from bands like My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy. They’ve also brought in some artists to sing their songs, including Tom Higgenson of Plain White T’s, who sang the popular “Hey There Delilah.”
Singer Khaled joined forces with Coachella’s youngest-ever heroine, Billie Eilish, to perform her song “Lovely” and later, her brother Finneas participated in the stage for “I Love You” and “Your Power”.
but that is not all.
Eilish sang “Getting Older” with Damon Albarn, Blur champ and co-founder of Gorillaz. He was then joined by Kelvin Mercer, aka Posdnuos, from the hip-hop group De La Soul, and performed the song “Feel Good Inc.” with Eilish.
21 Savage did not disappoint during his set on day two. Post Malone joined the rapper for a “Rockstar” performance at Sahara’s tent. Later, producer Metro Boomin came out on stage for “No Heart”, “A Lot” and some other songs.
The surprises didn’t stop there. The third day of the first weekend was full of big-name performances for the guests.
Karol G paid tribute to other Latin artists by performing their songs in her group including “Como La Flor” by Selena Quintanilla, which left fans emotional. She also directed Becky G and they performed their hit song “Mami”.
Then, on the main stage itself, Doja brought in Cat Tyga to perform “Juicy”. At the end of her collection, she announced that Taco Bell would be bringing back the Mexican pizza, which will be back on May 19, by the way.
But wait there is more. Celebrities who did not perform on the Coachella floor also appeared.

Paris Hilton was definitely not one you should miss at Coachella. She added a touch of color to the festival.
