Men’s magazine: How did this partnership with C4 originate?

Kevin Hart: I was well acquainted with C4 long before partnering with the company. I was using their product to start my morning, especially when I was working out at the gym because I found it brought a lot to my energy levels. It helped me not only increase my workouts with Boss, but also maintain that momentum throughout the day. So it was part of my lifestyle before all this happened.

How has your training method evolved over the years?

The workouts have changed because of we have changed. The boss is an exceptional coach, and he does a great job of blending our routines to the point where it doesn’t become routine, while still staying productive. That’s what makes a great coach in my eyes. We’ve made little progress over the years, and we’re able to revisit a long list of accomplishments. We’ve taken part in marathons, CrossFit sessions, epic cycling, and more.

Leaving certain projects aside, what are your goals when you go to the gym right now?

I think the biggest goal is always to find happiness within yourself. I’m not going to a regular session just to look a certain way. My daily goal is to be consistent. I want to take care of my health to be a part of my lifestyle, and to stay in the right direction 365 days a year. That’s why I never want to do a workout that doesn’t let me move the next day. Because spending that time every day paying attention to my fitness is important to my happiness.

    How is that?

I found that if I didn’t get a workout in at the beginning of the day, I would be slow in the afternoon. Stand-up comedy is something that always requires a lot of energy from me, and I love to do it with great intensity. I want to be able to perform at the highest level, especially when I’m out on the road. I’m looking forward to giving people their money back on this tour. I don’t want to give up on it. There was a period when we weren’t able to bid, so I’m excited to be back there.

Do you have any jokes about exercises that have come out of your training lately?

Art imitates life, and comedy comes from life experiences. I can’t share anything I’ve come up with lately because I need people to pick up tickets! We are still adding new shows to the tour and are going to some other countries as well. I’m in a world Go And I put my foot on the gas.

Is it hard to find places to train while you’re traveling on a tour like this?

I’ve built relationships with gyms all over the world after touring for as long as I’ve owned it. There are plenty of places that have had the honor of letting me in during my off hours so that I can avoid any kind of disturbance. The most important thing is the diet. You can work hard as hell, but if you’re not eating right, you’re fighting an uphill battle.

Speaking of your work with the boss, you two seem to be having a lot of fun. Is this also important in terms of staying consistent with your training?

Having fun in our workouts is important. Nothing in life should be taken seriously. There should be a little fun in everything, especially when you’re doing something you love. You must be able to smile. This is how you lighten the load and make work easier and fun. My coach has become a brother, and our relationship is something I thrive on. Our morning rituals include laughter and meaningful conversation as we work to improve ourselves.

Do you have any music you like to play during those sessions?

    Lots of Bon Jovi.

Do you have a fitness achievement in relation to your film projects that you are proud of?

I can’t say I’ve reached the point where I did. There is still much I plan to do. I still make movies and make movies. My turn in Borderlands was different. I found a lot of fun in this challenge.

We are very excited about Borderlands—And so are all Gearbox video game fans. I worked with the Navy SEALs and trained in hand-to-hand combat for it. What can we expect from your performance Kroland?

Expect to be shocked. I don’t want to share much because this is one of those projects where there’s a really great fan base that’s already built because of the game, and I want them to give it a full try in the theater. There were some reservations about the casting choices, but I think people’s minds will be blown. Our director and the rest of the cast did a great job. Just wait until you see what we’ve all done together.
