Measure your cabinets, then buy the shelves that work best for you. You can buy shelves at wholesale price, experts write, but if you want to do more research, you can find them cheaper at a surplus store.
Some discount stores, such as Home Goods, also have freestanding wire shelves that can fit snugly over your cabinets and create tiers of organization.
It can make navigating in the kitchen easier on your body: Adding shelves to lower cabinets expands your space, but it also makes it easier to move around without bending and stowing.
To completely renovate the house, spend $50 on motion sensor lights. On Amazon, you can find rechargeable lights that stick to walls and cabinets, or unobtrusive LED lights that plug right into your outlets.
Place it near your front door, under cabinets, or in any areas that can bring in a little extra visibility.

With $150 to spend, you can turn your kitchen and bathroom into luxury amenities.

While upgrading your bathroom cabinet, spend $35 on a soft toilet seat, too.
It’s an unexpected addition, but once you’ve got one, you’ll never want to do without it.
If you have 300 dollars
There are two projects in the $300 range that will improve your life in major ways.
The first is a new kitchen faucet, which you can install yourself or pay for a professional to fix it. Take a look at your aquarium and identify the features that will make your life easier.
Can you take advantage of a retractable spout head, which will allow you to go deeper into the nooks and crannies of your soiled dishes?
Or do you want a new faucet with a high, curved neck, which will arch over the washbasin and leave more room for larger pots? it’s your choice.
If your kitchen already suits you, consider investing $300 in your garage.
Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Costco, and other home improvement stores have heavy-duty shelves ranging from $150 to $200 that are perfect for the garage.
Spend the rest of your budget on braces and security. Wall-mounted shelves, secured with additional screws or ceiling joists, can make you feel secure.
If you treat the garage as a huge junk drawer, adding shelves will reduce clutter and give your cars more space, which sounds like money well spent.
