Imported brick cladding and warm lighting make Vadakara home different | Lifestyle Decor

Abdul Nassar’s dream house at Chemmarathur near Vadakara in Kerala is a great example of turning an old house into a modern and elegant dwelling without losing its soul. The house, which is about a decade and a half old, exudes the elegant charm of traditional architecture. Meanwhile, the interiors have been given a modern look to suit the modern lifestyle and preferences of family members. Interestingly enough, this does not look like a recently renovated house.

Although it was a two-story building, the interiors lacked enough space. Therefore, the family decided to renovate the house to make the interior spaces spacious and spacious. Old clay roofing tiles have been replaced with panels that add an elegant look to the height. Meanwhile, the interior spaces have been renovated to make it spacious and also look elegant.

Like the regular traditional houses, this house also has a long veranda and seating area. The wall here is highlighted with imported brick cladding. Meanwhile, warm-colored lighting adds more dimension to it. Interestingly, the cladding and lighting make this area look as if it were designed in a “wooden” style.

This majestic mansion spans over 6,000 square feet and includes a carport, seating and dining areas, a kitchen with work area, six bedrooms, an attic living area and a balcony.

The unique tree design, done in metal cutting, in which the many names of Allah are engraved on the leaves is absolutely stunning. This shimmering artwork on the wall in the dining hall gives a divine ambiance to the area.

The old, faded tiles were completely replaced by white nano floors. This, combined with warm-colored lighting, makes the interior look and feel very pleasing.

The staircase is designed using onyx marble with a teak wood finish. Hidden LED lights make the staircase look incredibly beautiful.

Three bedrooms are arranged on both floors. Two bedrooms have been newly added. In the meantime, the old bedrooms got a stunning makeover, making them look as luxurious as a premium resort.

The colorful kitchen cabinets are made of marine plywood with an acrylic glass finish.

Renovation work has been on hold for a while during the closing period. Therefore, it took about two years to transform this traditional dwelling into a modern and elegant home with spacious interiors.

Meanwhile, family relatives and friends were completely surprised by the newly added features and spacious interiors.
