    New member of The Wiggles, John Pearce, has revealed the health and fitness secrets behind his physique.

    The former Justice Crew star, 31, says he keeps himself in shape by starting the day with a glass of water, black coffee, and a half-hour body weight workout.

    Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, the performer said: “Your body is the product of your habits. It’s the most important asset you can have because you can’t do anything without it.”

    “I believe a holistic approach to overall health is the key to a healthy body,” he added.

    “This includes a balance of good nutrition and enjoying the foods you love in moderation along with a consistent fitness routine.”

    Sharing some wisdom from his father, John said it’s important to seize every moment and live in the present and not take life too seriously. He also says that smiling, getting good sleep, and being social are key factors to good mental health.

    John, who now wears a purple costume on the set of Successful Kids, is currently doing a degree in clinical nutrition through the Big Show TV tour of The Wiggles’ Fruit Salad TV.

    The muscular Australian Ninja Warrior star says his Bachelor of Science studies have become an important influence on the way he views health and fitness.

    John says he puts his newfound knowledge to work by trying different ways to train and eat.

    To relax, he loves to play music or watch TV.

    Announced as the newest member of The Wiggles last August, it has proven popular with fans.

    Join new performers including the 15-year-old Tsehai Hawkins, who was adopted from Ethiopia, and Chinese-Australian Kelly Hamilton is a 45-year-old dancer who has performed with artists including Beyoncé and Pink.

    Newcomer Evie Ferris, a 24-year-old Indigenous dancer from Cairns, wrapped up.

    The line-up will also feature three new non-binary characters including a dancing cop named Officer Beaples, Shirley Shawn the Unicorn, and Bok the Hand puppet.

    ‘As society has evolved, we have embraced the need for diversity and inclusion and want children around the world to see themselves reflected on screen,’ said Blue Weigel Anthony Field.

    It is very important that The Wiggles continue to evolve along with our community.
