    The 77-year-old posted a video on Instagram on Monday running across a soccer field – revealing to fans that he is in ‘best fitness’.

    The Rock was under the knife in 2020, after sustaining an injury from playing football – opting for ankle surgery said to cost £8,000.

    And despite his vow that “the football days are over” in 2021, the singer appeared to be at full throttle as he put on a life-defying show.

    Wearing a black tracksuit, he runs between two cones while a black stereo beeps – a well-known multi-stage fitness test.

    Rudd has made it clear he’s ready for his much-anticipated tour dates, which will see him travel across North America this summer – before arriving in the UK in November.

    The father, who is a father of eight, underwent knee surgery in 2020, followed by ankle surgery to align his leg.

    He previously told The Sun: “My knee was fixed with a knee replacement, so the ankle didn’t know what was going on because it was obviously twisted due to the knees, so I now had to stabilize the ankle. ”

    He was often seen on crutches last year after the surgeries involved, but he appears to be in better shape than ever in the last post.

    After his initial knee replacement, his wife, Penny Lancaster, 51, said Rudd’s knee is better than ever.

    He was running sideways and everything was sorted. She explained that he’s like a knee replacement expert – there’s nothing stopping him.
