“The Only Travel Bag You’ll Ever Need” features a modular design that magically splits into 3 different bags

You have a laptop bag, an overnight bag, a travel bag, a duffle bag, a gym bag, and a separate bag for your shoes, clothes, tech, cameras, a drone, and your toiletries. A different bag for every different purpose. Now I don’t mean to turn this into a George Carlin-style comic part, so I’m going to go straight to the chase. Think of each separate bag as a physical book. You can either have ten different books that fill your entire bookshelf…or just buy an e-book reader that contains hundreds of books with its slim and versatile design. The Onli Travel Revolution is the backpacking e-book.

Dubbed the Onli because it’s practically the only bag you’ll really need, this clever little number debuted in 2019. Created by father and son duo Dave and Kyle Logan, Onli was a hit when it debuted, but its real success was beating the pandemic When global travel stopped (and the basic need to own backpacks/luggage bags). Not only were Logans able to survey their inventory even in the midst of a raging pandemic and supply chain, but Logans were able to develop and model Onli 2.0. Now in its second avatar (as a successor to the original Onli Venture project), the Onli Travel Revolution Rolling Pack doubles down on the “modular travel revolution” vision, with a unique 3-in-1 creative design that essentially gives you a backpack for every case.

At its core, the Onli Travel Revolution is a 3-bag system designed to be infinitely modular but independently versatile. Here’s what I mean – let’s skip the e-book analogy from earlier and think of the Onli travel revolution as S’more. Made with a bar of chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers, they taste great on their own, but they separate their ingredients and are all delicious individually as well, or even when in pairs of whatever combination you like. Heroes of Onli Travel Revolution is totally logical with its 3-bag system, which consists of a skinny carry bag, an expandable daypack, and an expandable roller bag. The three separate bags cover a full range of scenarios, proving to be incredibly handy when used independently. However, strap them together and combine them into a ‘super bag’ of sorts, giving you all the benefits of multiple bags, into one backpack that can be carried over your shoulders, or rolled down a hallway on its four spinner wheels.

The “meat” of the Onli Travel revolution is its expandable rotary engine, the largest among the suitcases. Equipped with four 360-degree spinner wheels and a telescopic handle, the expandable spinner is the perfect size for air travel. It’s perfectly sized to fit the cabin right with you, features a tapered design that slips under most airline seats, has an expandable design that lets you store more if you choose, and has all the compartments, pockets, and zippers needed to organize your belongings. It also has zippers on the front and back that allow you to attach the other bags on each side for added convenience.

Left: Messenger carrying. Right: Expandable Daypack.

The remaining two eras also have unique capabilities based on your needs. The Front Messenger Tote Bag is a sleek little number, designed to store essential tech or your everyday belongings. It’s designed to be large enough to fit a 17-inch laptop if you choose, and it comes with a quick-grab handle, and a high-quality monocoque “seat harness” strap for tote or crossbody style wear, which converts to two shoulder straps in case you want to wear it as a traditional backpack. If you choose to use it independently, it has a foldable bottle holder, and even comes with RFID blocking pockets and lockable zippers. Moreover, it can be attached to the back of any airline seat and has its own built-in “shelf” that opens with a zipper and serves as a temporary laptop table while you’re on your flight or on a bus. Don’t want to use it as a separate entity? Well, it zips right onto the aforementioned roller bag, or even onto the rear expandable daypack.

8-Piece Packing Cubes Set

An expandable daypack is kind of like your very own laptop bag, but thanks to its modular, versatile design, it’s just sizes better than any laptop bag you’ll likely own. Just like a briefcase, the expandable daypack stores a 17-inch laptop, along with a slew of other items. It opens flat like a suitcase (making it TSA friendly), allowing you to pack items in it like one, and even extract belongings without hunting and making a mess of your belongings. The expandable design allows your daypack to nearly triple in size, becoming a “weekend bag” if you wish, and both the expandable daypack and spinner bag are designed to accommodate Onli’s 8-piece packing block set Separate all your belongings into one bag so you don’t have to carry 10 different bags in 10 different scenarios. For all intents and purposes, your laptop, camera, chargers, toiletries, and underwear can all sit in one bag in their own separate compartments…if you so choose.

The Onli Travel Revolution 3-in-1 can be used as a unique super bag, like three individual bags, or in any 2+1 format. The bags come together when you’re looking for one cohesive solution, but if you ever need one of those bags not the entire nine yards Simply detach the bag you need and you’ll have convenience without a pile. Subtly enough, the modular design also makes it easy to stow the entire Onli Travel Revolution in the aircraft’s overhead compartment. Simply split the Onli into its 3 separate items, and it’s now easier to store than a large, bulky bag.

Onli Travel Revolution wasn’t smartly designed…and now in its second edition, it’s also well made. The entire backpack is made of durable, water- and dust-resistant canvas, and comes with high-quality YKK zippers that can also be locked into the main compartments of your bags. Tailor-made, yet versatile, modular yet individually useful, the bags have a unique way to meet every need for every scenario, whether it’s casual vacations, business travel, excursions, city coms or a trip to the gym , or the field, or even the next city. This isn’t Onli’s first rodeo, and the company has worked hard to bring every one of the 2019 Onli Travel Venture bags to its backers, even despite the pandemic. During that time, Logans was even able to improve its design and build a prototype for the Onli Travel Revolution Rolling Pack, launching just in time as the world begins to open up and international travel begins to ramp up until the pre-pandemic days. The Onli Travel Revolution now comes in six different colors and starts at $79 on Kickstarter just for the skinny messenger or daypack (if you only want one), or just $139 for the expandable spinner, or $269 if you want the entire modular travel kit.
