Topher Grace is ready for his comeback as Eric Foreman. Over the weekend, it was announced that Grace will be joining most of his fellow original cast members from This is a 70’s show to appear in This is the 90’s showA sequel series is in the works at Netflix. Courtwood Smith and Debra Jo Robb were only confirmed to appear as Red and Kitty Forman before it was announced that Grace would be returning alongside Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama.
With his official return, I took Grace to Twitter to tease his prospective return to Point Bliss, Wisconsin. He posted a picture of himself in his T-shirt This is a 70’s show One day, it bears the Point Place Vikings logo and reads “Class of 77.” Grace comments that the shirt “still fits” while using the hashtag #HelloWisconsin.
This is a 70’s show It aired from 1998 to 2006, and ran for eight full seasons. Grace served as one of the main cast members on the set for seven of those eight seasons, and left before season eight to focus on his budding film career. Grace recently suggested that he might not be able to come back because he has a “day job” nowadays, referring to his role on the ABC series. Home EconomicsWhich raised some doubts about his possible return as Eric. Thankfully, all the stars are totally lined up for the reunion, sans Danny Masterson as Hyde, of course.
This ’90s Show Reunites Red and Kitty Foreman
Recently, Netflix also revealed its first look at This is the 90’s show. The new photo shows Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp returning as Red and Kitty Forman. Their clothing and home décor may have changed a bit to resemble the ’90s, but then, we’re pretty much looking at the same Red and Kitty Forman, but in an entirely different decade.
Created by Greg Mettler This is the 90’s show With This is a 70’s show Creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner. Mettler and the Turners also serve as writers and executive produced alongside Smith, Rupp, Lindsey Turner, Marcy Carsey, and Tom Werner under the Carsey-Werner Company.
The Spinoff series will introduce a new cast of youngsters in the same vein as the original series, but things will still feel a bit familiar as Formans continues to play a big role in the new show. Kaley Havrda is part of the new group as Leah Foreman, the granddaughter of Red and Kitty. The cast also includes Ashley Overheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Ace Donovan, Rain Doy, and Sam Morelos.
