    Jonathan Olivares Join MillerKnoll in Zeeland, Michigan as the new Senior Vice President of Design at Knoll. Olivares’ prolific career has consisted of commercial, residential and product design, including the main showroom in Kvadrat in New York and Olivares’ aluminum chair design for Knoll. As Senior Vice President, Olivares will oversee the development of the company’s future designs.

    Fabric manufacturer promoted Crypton Elise Gabrielson To VP of Marketing. Gabrielson joined the company in 2015 as Marketing Director and will now succeed Julia Gillespie to lead Crypton’s marketing efforts.

    Pavilion Furniture Company appointed in Miami for outdoor furniture Jay Chapman as chief. Most recently, Chapman served as Vice President of Product Design at Studio TK in Clayton, North Carolina, having also held various product roles at Herman Miller Geiger-owned office furniture manufacturer. As president, he will lead the suite into its next phase of growth in the outdoor furnishings industry.

    Cheryl Furniture Company of Hickory, North Carolina, has announced two new appointments in its marketing division: Sydney Wells He is now Director of Marketing and Jim Morgan He is the new Technical Director of Marketing. Wells joins Sherrill from furniture manufacturer Theodore Alexander, where she worked as Marketing Director.
