Stephen Watt, President of the prestigious luxury home builder Gulf Shore Homes, is excited to announce the addition of another branch to the company’s deep-rooted tree – the Interior Design Division.
“We have always been the liaison between our homeowners and the interior design team we have partnered with. Over the years, we have taken a more active role in consulting with our clients on their interior design options,” said Matthew Scholl, Executive Vice President of Gulf Shore Homes. Adding an interior design department to the company is a natural progression of our business model and makes it more customer friendly.”
Watt also announced that Brooke Meyer has been chosen as the department’s lead interior designer.
The Boca Raton, Florida native, holds a Master of Science degree from Florida State University in Interior Design. For nearly four years she worked as a design assistant at an award-winning residential company in Southwest Florida, working on a number of international projects.
Mayer was also associated with a reputable commercial design firm in Naples for a year and a half and was soon called back into the residential world, and led a design team for over five years, where she excelled at a high level luxury residential design.
Mayer, who has worked with Gulfshore Homes on projects for the past ten years, admits she is excited to bring her creative energies and passion for outstanding customer service to Gulfshore Homes’ interior design department on a permanent basis.
“It’s ideal as an interior designer to collaborate with one of the best luxury builders in southwest Florida, known for their knowledge of construction, finishing and high-quality detailing,” Mayer noted. “It’s also refreshing to work for a creator who is known for pushing boundaries and creating designs that have never been seen before.”
Meyer and Matt Shull are on the same page for why now is the perfect time to add an in-house interior design team to a luxury home builder.
“As everyone knows, the real estate market has been booming. Having a large number of signed new construction and remodeling projects in the pipeline to cover the next few years is a solid base from which to launch,” commented Mayer. “The client has an immediate advantage in working with the interior design team. Both parties can meet regularly, make changes more efficiently and exchange ideas more clearly. It is all about a close and wonderful working relationship.”
Meyer wouldn’t occupy an interior design office alone. Lindsay Molinario, a design partner of more than five years, joined the team as an interior designer.
Molinario graduated from Highpoint University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design.
The showroom or display area for the new interior design department is located with Gulfshore Homes headquarters located at 8891 Brighton Lane, Suite 101, in Bonita Springs.
The showroom will feature ceiling materials, hallway flooring, door finishes and everything needed for the exterior of the home, as well as interior features such as flooring options, window shades, and cabinetry. The studio will also be furnished with hundreds of brands of furniture, art, accessory catalogs, cutting-edge fabrics and decor, assortment of bedding, wardrobe hardware – and more.
