Martha Stewart launches glassware with Baccarat and reveals a special Margarita recipe

Martha Stewart and Baccarat are two names that are synonymous with glamor, elegance and distinction in home décor.

So it was only a matter of time before the woman who not only influenced the art of living and hospitality but also defined, with a brand that perpetuates the excellence of craftsmanship, collaborated to design a collection of eyeglasses so beautiful that they promise to make everything taste even better.

“I’ve been a longtime fan of Baccarat’s gorgeous crystal decanters, so I’m honored to share this iconic brand with The Martha’s collection,” said Martha Stewart.

When Martha bought Skylands—Edsel Ford’s former summer home in Seal Harbor, Maine—the estate was filled with enough Baccarat to hold more than 50 people.

The cups in this treasure trove belong to Baccarat Nancy The collection, which is named after the city of Nancy in northeastern France and is distinguished by its fine, crisscross lines etched into the base of clear crystal cups.

While the beloved star adored the set, Martha wanted an extra glass to enjoy her favorite drink, and the French luxury brand is obligated to do so.

“At Baccarat, we believe in collaboration, and always look to match best-in-class brands,” said Jim Shreve, President and CEO of Baccarat North America.

Classic Martha Rita: Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco, lemon and a touch of orange liqueur make the perfect combination with or without salt.

    Ingredients:

    2 lemons

Pink salt or sea salt, coarsely ground

2 oz Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco

    1 ounce fresh lemon juice

    directions:

    1. Squeeze one lemon to make 1 ounce and set aside. From the remaining lime, cut a thin wheel for decoration and a piece of the edge of the salt.

    2. Run a lime wedge around the edge of a Baccarat Martha-rita glass; Dip a rim in the salt to coat it. Partially fill the glass with ice (Martha prefers one large ball to reduce melting and thinning).

    3. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add tequila, orange liqueur, and reserved lemon juice. Shake vigorously until mixture is cool and cool outside, about 10 seconds; Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and serve immediately.
