Tindale Towers in Bishop Auckland on the market for £2m

    It is an often-reported fact that home prices in the Northeast are consistently among the lowest in the country.

    In fact, online property sale website Zoopla revealed in April that Sheldon in County Durham was the most affordable place to live in the UK for the third year in a row, with an average home price of just £71,000.
