It is an often-reported fact that home prices in the Northeast are consistently among the lowest in the country.
In fact, online property sale website Zoopla revealed in April that Sheldon in County Durham was the most affordable place to live in the UK for the third year in a row, with an average home price of just £71,000.

Here we’ve looked at some of the homes in our area that are currently on the market in Zoopla for over £2 million to see what the big money can buy in North East and North Yorkshire.
