Kirkwood, Mo.; – The Illinois women’s golf team will be looking to put in a fight starting Sunday, as the Birds travel to southwest St. Louis to compete in the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Championships, hosted by the Greenbrier Hills Country Club, starting Sunday.

Redbeard’s MVC history: No other school in MVC has won as many titles–13–as the Redbirds in women’s golf, while the Birds’ also has 13 individual champions, more than double the second-highest total in conference history. ISu’s last win came during the 2013 season, with Katie Jean also earning her second straight honors in the championship. In a six-year period from 2008 to 2013, ISU won five titles, while also returning four individual medals during that time.
